LifeRaft OSTM

Independent by design

Built for independence. Born in Canada.

LifeRaft OS is proudly engineered and maintained by Robert White, an independent solo developer based in British Columbia, Canada. No venture capital. No data mining. No corporate bloat. Just focused, efficient software designed to give creators and studios genuine control over their data, infrastructure, and digital future.

Security first

Responsible operation starts at the foundation.

LifeRaft OS is designed around explicit permissions, clear system boundaries, controlled data ownership, and security-conscious operating practices from the start—not added as an afterthought.

Compliance and extension

Start with a capable core. Extend with focused add-ons.

Compliance-focused add-ons support policy, consent, records, retention, audit, and other operational workflows. The modular add-on system lets each installation grow further without forcing every capability into the core. These tools support an operator’s compliance program; they do not replace professional legal or regulatory advice.

Why LifeRaft OS exists

Control should stay with the people doing the work.

The platform gives creators, communities, and studios practical control over their data, infrastructure, identity, and workflows—without making a venture-backed technology conglomerate the permanent middleman.

Ownership

Digital sovereignty

Self-hosting and portable systems help operators decide where their community lives, how its data is handled, and how the platform evolves. LifeRaft OS can run online, on a private network, or in a locally hosted environment without public-internet dependence.

Online or offline. Your platform. Your decisions.
Architecture

Clean, modular software

A stable core and focused add-ons keep optional systems replaceable, understandable, and easier to operate over the long term.

Activate what earns its place.
Stewardship

Independently maintained

LifeRaft OS is shaped through direct responsibility to its users and its purpose, not through investor pressure to capture attention or user data.

Built deliberately in Canada.

The maker

Robert White / Realystic

Robert White is an independent developer and designer based in British Columbia, Canada, and the creator behind LifeRaft OS, Realystic, and the RLX family of related systems. Realystic is the creative and software studio identity connecting that work.

The community

LifeRaftOS.me

The LifeRaft OS community site is a home for creators and other builders to connect, share work, exchange knowledge, and take part in the wider ecosystem around independently owned digital spaces.

Deployment freedom

Connected when you want it. Local when you need it.

Run a public community on the web, keep an internal workspace on a private network, or operate a locally hosted installation where public-internet access is unavailable or unwanted. In a real deployment with hosting, database access, and file permissions already configured, LifeRaft OS completed its core installation in two seconds. The same installer supports local and online deployments. Optional services such as payment providers, outbound email, and third-party platform connectors still require access to their respective networks.
